Getting Started

First-Time Setup

When you first open OmniStudy AI, you'll be guided through a simple setup:

1. Enter your name — This personalises your experience
2. Select your academic level — Choose GCSE or A-Level
3. Choose your exam board — Select from AQA, OCR, Edexcel, WJEC, CBAC, Eduqas, CIE, IB, or enter a custom board
4. Add your first subject — Pick from popular subjects or add your own

That's it! You're ready to start revising.

AI Disclosure

On your first use, you'll see a brief notice explaining that OmniStudy AI uses Google's Gemini AI to generate your study materials. Tap "I Understand" to continue — this only appears once.

Bilingual Support

OmniStudy AI supports both English and Welsh (Cymraeg). You can change the language in Settings at any time. When Welsh is selected, the entire app interface and AI-generated content will be provided in Welsh.
